Phase 1 is nearing completion at The Decks in Runcorn, a six-block waterside residential complex built to resemble marine vessels alongside the Manchester Ship Canal and River Mersey.
Working on behalf of our client, Bell Building Projects is delivering a major facade remediation scheme across all six blocks. The work consists of removing combustible materials – render, Cedral Timber and HPL – and replacing them with non-combustible systems: Wetherby System Render, Cedral Click and Rockpanel.
The project is being delivered in a live, occupied residential environment, with no decants. Our phased approach requires meticulous sequencing and access management to minimise disruption whilst maintaining safety and quality standards. Our dedicated in-house Resident Liaison Officer works closely with residents throughout, ensuring clear communication and coordination at every stage.
As we progress through the remaining phases, our focus remains on delivering this essential fire safety upgrade whilst keeping residents informed, supported and at the heart of our operational planning.
