We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the City Gate fire and re-cladding remediation project in Manchester City Centre. As the principal contractor, we carried out the extensive work on three occupied residential buildings, which collectively house around 600 residents across 329 apartments.
The works involved stripping off the combustible cladding and its support structures and installing new, advanced non-combustible cladding systems with updated cavity fire barriers. This work was accomplished with minimal disruption to the residents, significantly enhancing the safety of the buildings.
Additionally, we were responsible for disconnecting and subsequently reinstating essential building services, including control panels and CCTV systems, ensuring their functionality throughout the duration of the project.
