Job description
We are seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. Reporting daily to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will ensure that cladding and scaffolding operations are carried out safely and in accordance with BBP procedures and operational RAMS.
Duties include
- Supervise on-site cladding and scaffolding activities, manage subcontractors and staff.
- Oversee site logistics, deliveries, and security.
- Ensure safety regulations and BBP procedures are followed.
- Monitor project progress, provide updates to management, and assist with quality assurance.
- Resolve on-site issues, conduct inspections, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements and skills
- Site Construction Experience.
- CSCS card.
- SSSTS certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience supervising labour squads.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of the wider BBP project team.
- SMSTS certification (desired).
- First Aid certification (desired).
- Previous experience working for a Principal Contractor (desired).
- Previous experience supervising external facade works such as cladding, brickworks, render, or curtain walling (desired).
- IT skills in MS Word and MS Excel (desired).
