We’re delighted to have been instructed on the cladding remediation project at Bonners Raff, off Chandlers Road, Sunderland, in partnership with FRC Limited.
This marks a significant step forward for the fire safety improvements of this prominent 8-storey high flatted complex, which includes 63 residential units situated near the River Wear and the Wearmouth Bridge.
Our project focuses on the replacement of the existing render, aluminium cladding systems, and timber balcony decking with non-flammable alternatives. These upgrades are crucial for enhancing the building’s safety and ensuring compliance with the latest fire safety standards. Importantly, the new materials have been carefully selected to match the existing façade’s look in terms of colour, texture, and form.
