The Role
We are seeking a Finance Administrator / Accounts Assistant to support the Managing Director with a range of financial and administrative tasks across ongoing business activities.
This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks. You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion of tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
- Managing supplier payments and monitoring outgoing costs
- Assisting with internal cost allocations and recharges
- Supporting the preparation and organisation of financial documentation
- Liaising with suppliers and external service providers to resolve queries
- Assisting with reconciliation of accounts and financial data
- Maintaining spreadsheets and internal tracking systems
- Providing general administrative support to the Managing Director as required
- Ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Who We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Good communication skills and a professional approach
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Experience with accounting software (ideally Sage)
- Experience working with multiple cost centres or departments
