The Role

We are seeking a Finance Administrator / Accounts Assistant to support the Managing Director with a range of financial and administrative tasks across ongoing business activities.

This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks. You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing purchase invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Managing supplier payments and monitoring outgoing costs
  • Assisting with internal cost allocations and recharges
  • Supporting the preparation and organisation of financial documentation
  • Liaising with suppliers and external service providers to resolve queries
  • Assisting with reconciliation of accounts and financial data
  • Maintaining spreadsheets and internal tracking systems
  • Providing general administrative support to the Managing Director as required
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner

Who We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or administrative role
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Experience with accounting software (ideally Sage)
  • Experience working with multiple cost centres or departments
