Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing & Proposals Manager to join our team and drive our marketing initiatives and proposal development processes. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will play a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies, managing the bids process and enhancing our brand presence in the construction industry. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to achieve business objectives.
Duties include
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to increase brand awareness and market share.
- Manage and execute digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and content marketing.
- Coordinate the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, case studies, and newsletters.
- Lead the bid development process from start to finish, including RFP analysis, bid writing, editing, and submission.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure accurate and compelling bid content.
- Develop bid templates, standard content, and ensure adherence to company brand guidelines.
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in marketing and bid management, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction industry trends, terminology, and processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines
