We’re pleased to welcome Douglas Sheppard to Bell Building Projects as our new Procurement Manager, based in our Scotland office.
Douglas is a procurement and supply chain specialist with over 30 years of construction industry experience, having worked in senior roles for leading UK building envelope contractors. He now supports BBP’s projects by working closely with our supply chain to deliver value, quality, and practical solutions.
What does Douglas enjoy most about the role?
“The variety – every day brings something new, whether that’s working with new suppliers or maintaining established relationships.”
His project portfolio includes work across the UK and overseas – highlights include national stadiums, nuclear sector sites, and the National Graphene Institute in Manchester.
Outside of work, Douglas enjoys travelling, football, and most sports. He recently visited India with his wife, ending the trip with a memorable visit to the Taj Mahal.
