Meet Andrew Besant-Roberts, our new Head of Quality Assurance at Bell Building Projects
Based in our Manchester office, Andrew works closely with colleagues across all BBP regions – including our offices in Glasgow, Bristol and London – supporting quality across live sites, tender submissions and everything in between.
A Chartered Construction Manager (CIOB) and Chartered Quality Professional (CQI), Andrew brings over 25 years of experience with national main contractors, having worked across residential, commercial, education, healthcare, industrial and rail sectors. His background includes senior roles in operations, planning, business development – and now, quality.
No two days are the same. Whether it’s auditing sites, sitting down with project teams to refine inspection forms, or developing Quality Management Plans for new bids, Andrew is focused on delivering quality through collaboration, detail and consistency.

Outside of work, Andrew leads a Scout troop, loves exploring on two wheels, and once rode his motorbike from the UK to South Africa. If he could invite anyone to dinner? Claudia Winkleman, Bear Grylls and Henry Cole – for stories, adventures and a few laughs.
