Following a successful PCSA period, we’re pleased to confirm our appointment as Principal Contractor for the construction phase of the fire remediation works at Spring Street, Hull.
Appointed by Pure Block Management, with Wainwrights acting as Contract Administrator, the 66-week scheme will see the full removal and replacement of existing cladding with new A1/A2 fire-rated systems to enhance building safety and compliance for residents.
The scope of works includes full perimeter scaffolding, removal and reinstatement of external mechanical and electrical items, and façade upgrades across multiple existing wall constructions, including HPL cladding, brickwork, spandrel panels and cement board. Due to planning conditions, the façade solution has been updated from render to Rockpanel.
Spring Street comprises 72 apartments and will remain fully occupied throughout the duration of the works. Our team has extensive experience delivering complex remediation projects in live residential environments, with a strong focus on resident safety, communication and minimising disruption.
This also marks our first project with Wainwrights, and we look forward to building a strong working relationship as works progress on site.
