The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Jersey. This is a full-time, permanent, site-based role within a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Divisional Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a live project on the island.
Key Responsibilities

Planning and managing the project from initiation through to completion.

Managing all labour and subcontractors on site.

Reviewing and monitoring project progress to ensure programmes and milestones are achieved.

Attending and leading site meetings with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.

Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure quality, compliance, and best practice.

Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Completing all required site documentation on a daily and weekly basis.

Ensuring quality control measures are effectively implemented and maintained.

Maintaining high health and safety standards and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Managing and updating the QA process and Golden Thread documentation where applicable.
Who We’re Looking For
-
SMSTS qualification.
-
3-Day First Aid at Work certification.
-
CSCS Gold or Black Card.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction management.

Experience working for a main contractor.

Proven background in steel and cladding projects.

Knowledge of BSR, PCSA, and Golden Thread processes.

Demonstrable experience delivering construction projects as a Project Manager.

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.

Sound knowledge of quality, health, and safety standards.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Experience using construction and project management software.

Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.

Highly organised with strong time-management abilities.

A collaborative team player with the confidence to lead on site.
